Dr. Ceri Cashell is a Specialist GP based in Avalon, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Her focus is on hormones and their impact on health, in particular for women during peri/menopause, premenstrual and perinatal stages.
She frequently speaks at events and webinars, and appears on podcasts and in the media, to help raise awareness about hormonal health.
Ceri is also a co-founder of Healthy Hormones, an online menopause community offering free learning and support for health professionals and all Australians.

In June 2024, Ceri appeared on ABC News to discuss her input at the Senate Inquiry into Menopause. She emphasised the need for greater public awareness, enhanced medical education, and affordable, accessible hormone therapy, especially natural body-identical treatments.
She also highlighted the often-overlooked impact of declining sex hormones on women's health and the severe effects on mental health, calling for systemic changes to improve care for all women.

Healthy Hormones is a free online community dedicated to transforming menopause care in Australia. Founded by Ceri and two other GPs, it offers support and education for health professionals and soon for all Australians.
Members gain access handouts, guides, videos, and recommended podcasts and books. The discussion forum allows doctors and health professionals to connect and share knowledge. Regular webinars and courses are coming soon.
